Ulla in Africa

Ulla in Africa is an Afro-Funk chart in the Big Band Plus series and features—in addition to the standard 5/4/4/4 instrumentation—optional parts for flute, clarinet, French horn, marimba, and auxiliary percussion. A real audience pleaser and one of the most popular arrangements from the repertoire of the WDR Big Band. Peter Herbolzheimer’s arrangement features the lead alto, the piano and an optional percussion/drums solo.
