Two Stevenson Settings

Following the success of their Three Poems, Dave and Jean Perry have set two more of Robert Louis Stevenson’s writings in Two Stevenson Settings. Students will adore the whimsical, imaginative texts, taken from A Child’s Garden of Verses. And teachers will appreciate how appropriately the music depicts the lyrics. From the ticking of a hall clock in “The Moon,” to the crashing of the ocean waves in “Pirate Story,” the images are vivid, and the singing is artful. Outstanding in adjudication, and entertaining in concert.
