The Viol Habit

Jennifer Davenport’s arrangement of The Viol Habit: A Feature for Double Bass is a staple of the bass solo repertoire—now available as a feature for your entire bass section. The orchestral accompaniment is very light and requires good counting skills, but nothing over a grade 2. The robust, bouncy first theme in D major and 2/4 is followed by a lyric waltz section in G major. The first theme returns for the grand finale. (2:20)
