The Hallel (Psalms of Praise and Thanksgiving) is a medium length work from well-known composer, Lloyd Larson. The Hallel refers to six Psalms, Psalms 113-118, which in the Jewish tradition is one continuous prayer, a prayer used during certain Jewish Holy Days. Larson has set the text using several engaging musical styles in a multi-movement work, which is useful for times of thanksgiving and praise.
