Harry Alshin has done an incredibly nice job of making this work accessible to school orchestras. A simplified but authentic-sounding version of the violin solo part is written for the 1st violin section, while the other parts supply the syncopation and rhythmic energy that make this arragement so appealing. A lot of fun for students and audiences. (Grade 4)
