Commissioned in celebration of renowned conductor/educator Frank Battisti’s 85th birthday, Spring Overture is an energetic rondo that can serve as a rousing opener or closer to either half of a concert program. Inspired by a motif written by Maestro Battisti himself, this work is sure to please performers and audiences alike.
