Based on Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Young Prince and the Princess, Mike Smukal’s chart on Sheherajazz moves from a light rock introduction to an easy Latin samba groove and then into a swing feel. There are no individual solos, but plenty of ensemble, a modulation into a big shout chorus and the 1st trumpet range is to written G on top of the staff. Fun, interesting and a crowd pleaser!
