Psalms for a New Time

Four fresh anthems based on various Psalms are featured in “Psalms for a New Time.” With a light contemporary touch, these musical settings are easily prepared and useful for all year long. Selections included are “A New Song” (Psalm 86); “Making Music” (Psalm 98); “What Makes Me Sing” (Psalm 33); and “Joyful Noise” (Psalms 100 and 150). The work can also be performed in its entirety as a 15-minute mini-cantata. Accompany with piano or full orchestration.
