Mythical Dreams

This lyrical solo in D minor will transport students to another time and place. The right hand melody uses melodic and rhythmic patterns throughout the piece. These patterns will aid in learning and memorizing. Careful balance between the hands is needed when both hands are in the treble register. In the B section, a change of key to A major and a slightly faster tempo create a change of mood as well. This expressive piece is sure to bring out the best in any performer. Intermediate.
