The title of this piece is derived from the word “juxtaposed,” meaning to place side by side, especially for comparison or contrast, and the name “Jungst.” It is dedicated to the memory of Rudy Jungst, the first band director of Morton Jr. High School, and is a rhythmic, high-energy, multi-meter showcase for band.
