Young piano students who enjoy sports will “have a ball” with this piece. The clever lyrics depict all kinds of sports, including baseball, football, basketball and soccer. Written in Middle C position, the melody trades between the right and left hands and features some harmonic thirds. The optional accompaniment adds rhythmic interest and vitality.
