This original overture begins with a serene ballad reflective of the brilliant skies, clear air, and sun-speckled glacial streams of the Rocky Mountains. It then ebbs and flows with fluid-like transparency and shifting intensity. This composition is a great fit for all junior high school bands and developing high school bands to musically display their skills at concerts throughout the school year. (3:00)
