Cellular Symphony

In the style of Mozart’s Kinder Symphony and Haydn’s Toy Symphony, this tongue-in-cheek composition not only is great fun for the audience, but also makes a statement about the use of cell phones during concert performances! The classical style is an excellent teaching tool for younger players, while the percussion section has an opportunity to try out their latest ring-tones. This could also feature your Principal, Superintendent, school board members or the Mayor as the “cellular soloists”.
