Richard Dubugnon’s Caprice for Orchestra No.3 Caprice Romain is a short, 12-minute work inspired by Rome, and the third in a series of orchestral concert openers written by the composer. It was commissioned by Migros-Kulturprozent-Classics for the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and first performed on 27 April 2017 by Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, conducted by Antonio Pappano, at Sala Santa Cecilia in Rome.
